Terms of Service

It is my goal to create a real artwork that fits your imagination, and makes your miniature come to life. I believe that communication is key in achieving a commission that meets the customer’s wants and needs. Please take the time to read the below terms and conditions around the commission process.

Quotes

  • All commissions are quoted on a case-by-case basis. Please be specific in your request to ensure an accurate quote.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date given.
  • Quotes do not include the cost of the miniature/s. Miniature/s must be purchased by the customer and shipped to me, either from the customer or via drop shipping.
  • While I strive for accuracy, quotes may be given in a range depending on the specificity and/or complexity of the commission. Changes beyond that range will be communicated with the customer and will need to be approved before work continues.
  • Rush orders can be negotiated, but may not always be possible. Please be clear if a rush is required.

Payment

  • All payments will be conducted via PayPal.
  • A non-refundable down payment of 50% of the commission quote is required before work will commence. This is to preserve the customer’s place in the queue, and to cover time and materials in the event that the customer decides to withdraw from the commission.
  • Once the commission has been agreed to, I will send a PayPal request for the down-payment.
  • The remaining 50% plus shipping will be requested once work has been completed and pictures of the completed work have been approved by the customer. This final payment is non-refundable.

The Painting Process

  • Once I have received the miniature/s and down payment, the commission will be placed in the queue based on the order in which it was placed.
  • Current turnaround is about ten weeks.
  • Larger and/or more complex commissions will receive progress pictures to ensure that the customer is satisfied with the state of the work.
  • Final pictures will be sent upon completion to give the customer the opportunity to approve the final work and request changes if need be.
  • Minor changes will be made for free within reason and at my discretion.
  • Changes outside the scope of the initial request will be subject to additional charges, and must be agreed upon before implementing.
  • Unless specifically requested, final, approved pictures will be shared on my website and/or social media. Customer information will never be shared.

Shipping

  • Completed work is shipped via USPS Priority, with insurance, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
  • Alternative shipping may be requested and will be quoted accordingly.
  • International shipping is available, but due to the times we live in is subject to fluctuation in price and transit time. Please set expectations accordingly.
  • While I take great care to ensure that completed works are packed safely, I cannot accept liability for damages incurred during shipping. Insurance to the value of the commission (excluding the cost of the miniature/s) will always be included where available.

Cancellations and Withdrawals

  • In the event that the customer needs to cancel a commission, a final invoice will be sent based upon the current state of work, plus shipping.
  • If work has not yet commenced then the customer will only be responsible for return shipping.
  • Please remember that the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Failure to pay a final invoice within 30 days of receipt will be considered a withdrawal from the commission. Miniature/s from a withdrawn commission are forfeited to me for resale.
